Background

Originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, I've been working in the creative arts for almost 20 years.

In 1993, I began working in live-action film production in and around Chicago, and later in San Francisco. However, with the advent of computer graphics, I developed a taste for 3D art, and found that I really had a passion for it.

A few years later, I landed my first job in video games at Electronic Arts in Orlando, Florida. I met and worked with a great group of people who I really learned a lot from, about both game art and the industry in general. Over the next decade, I worked at several other game studios, including Visual Concepts, EA Redwood Shores, and 2K Sports.

In 2008, I returned to film, this time working as a character rigger at ImageMovers Digital in Novato, CA. While there, I really focused on my technical skills, and feel ready to tackle most any challenge that comes my way. I love creating 3D characters and bringing them to life through the mediums of games and film.

Since the closure of IMD, I've been at Backbone Entertainment, where I recently served as Lead Technical Artist on Dance Central 3. The whole team is very proud of the title, which won Best Social/Casual Game and Best Motion Simulation Game at E3 2012.

I look forward to whatever new opportunity comes my way.
